As many as 62 fresh COVID-19 cases have been detected in Mizoram.
Of these fresh 62 COVID-19 cases, 53 were detected after conducting Rapid Antigen Test, 3 through RT-PCR test conducted at Zoram Medical College (ZMC) and 3 through TrueNAT tests.
The active COVID-19 cases tally in Mizoram has risen to 608.
Most of these 608 active COVID-19 cases are from Aizawl.

Aizawl accounts for 457 active COVID-19 cases.
Lawngtlai – 60, Lunglei – 33, Kolasib – 26, Serchhip – 18, Champhai – 6, Mamit – 4, Saitual – 2 and Siaha – 2 districts also have COVID-19 active cases.
The districts of Khawzawl and Hnahthial are, as of now, COVID-19 free.
Mizoram’s total COVID-19 cases tally stands at 5220.

Of these total 5220 COVID-19 cases, 3658 are male and 1562 are female patients.
Meanwhile, 4600 patients have recovered from the disease and have been discharged from different COVID-19 hospitals in Mizoram.
