Four more people, including a three-year-old boy and a six-year-old girl, have tested positive for novel coronavirus in Mizoram.

As of Friday, the total number of positive cases in Mizoram reached 4,380.

While one of the patients has returned from Myanmar, it is yet to ascertain how the remaining three contracted the virus.

One patient has developed symptoms of Covid-19 and the rest three patients were asymptomatic.

The number of active cases in Mizoram stands at 29 while 4,342 people have recovered from the infection.

Nine people have so far succumbed to the disease.

On the other hand, the Mizoram health department has so far vaccinated 1,0044 health workers in the state.
