Miss India and Miss World 2017, Manushi Chhillar will visit Sikkim on Tuesday and interact with girl students and women of the state, local media reported.
She will join an event at Manan Kendra in Gangtok and spoke on good menstrual hygiene and HPV vaccines on the occasion of World Women’s Menstrual Hygienic Day.

Manushi Chhillar won the Beauty with a Purpose crown for her project in Female Hygiene and Health in Miss World contest and has been presently creating awareness among adolescent girls and women on good menstrual hygiene.
The organizer Celebration Committee for World Women’s Menstrual Hygienic Day-2018 has appealed the students to participate in the event.
It is a rare opportunity for the people of Sikkim to listen to the Miss World 2017 on this important topic of the hour, said the organisers.
