Shillong-born footballer Redeem Tlang, NorthEast United FC (NEUFC) winger, said playing under coach Robert Jarni has been a blessing for him.

Tlnag said that he has been enjoying his sessions under Jarni, who himself had been a prolific winger in his playing years for Croatia.

He further said that he was immensely thankful to the NEUFC coach for helping him to hon his skills.

Playing for NEUFC, Tlang has scored two goals in four matches in this Indian Super League (ISL) season.

Tlang scored his two goals against Odisha FC and FC Goa.

He further said that playing with marquee players like former Ghana star Asamoah Gyan, José David Leudo, Martín Cháves and Panagiotis Triadis has helped him to improve his own game.

Tlang, who played an important part last year in the first leg of NEUFC’s semi-final match against Bengaluru FC, wants to make this season even more memorable and wishes to play a pivotal role.

Redeem Tlang so far has played 23 matches for NEUFC.
