Saleng Sangma, State Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) chief has asked the party’s leadership for more activeness in Meghalaya for shaping a better future of the party in the state.
Speaking to the media, Saleng Sangma said that the future of the party would depend on the high command, and its support.
Sangma further added that NCP is raising the issues of the people and their ideology is good.

He added the NCP has done good for the farmers and the Meghalaya unit now plans to do the same in Meghalaya.
He, however, claimed that the response in the state is a little low.
For overcoming this, Sangma has requested the central leadership to be more responsible and active.

He further claimed that AITC in Meghalaya seemed to be a factor for 2023 but they might not be remembered after three months as people’s memory only last for three months.
