Meghalaya Covid19 update

Meghalaya on Sunday reported 9 more Covid19 deaths and 317 new positive cases in the last 24 hours.

With the new cases, Meghalaya’s Covid19 positive tally increased to 73,765 on Sunday.

On Sunday, a total of 382 people, who were earlier infected by Covid19, recovered from the disease.

With these, a total of 69,425 people have recovered from the deadly disease in the state so far.

The disease has claimed the lives of a total of 1,278 people in Meghalaya.

Meghalaya currently has a total of 3,062 active Covid19 cases.

Meghalaya on Saturday reported 8 Covid19 deaths and 231 positive cases.

On Saturday, a total of 460 people, who were earlier infected by Covid19, recovered from the disease.

According to NHM Meghalaya data shared on Saturday night, so far, a total of 12,80,979 people have been administered Covid19 vaccines in Meghalaya.

According to the NHM Meghalaya data, on Saturday, a total of 6,732 people received Covid19 vaccine doses.

Of the 6,732 people, who received Covid19 doses on Saturday, 4,625 were above 18 years and 1,461 were above 45 years.

On Saturday, a total of 91 health care workers received Covid19 vaccine doses while 555 frontline workers received the vaccine doses.

India’s cumulative Covid19 vaccination coverage crossed 58 crore landmark on Sunday.

More than 52 lakh doses were administered across India in the last 24 hours.

India reported 30,948 new Covid19 cases in the last 24 hours.

India’s active caseload stands at 3,53,398, which is the lowest in 152 days.

Active cases constitute 1.09% of total cases, the lowest since March 2020, according to the data shared by the Union health ministry.
