Meghalaya has reported 73 new Covid19 positive cases in the last 24 hours, taking the state’s total active cases to 680.
According to the latest update, of the new cases, East Khasi Hills reported 36 (Armed Forces/paramilitary forces-1, others 35), East Garo Hills has reported 1 case, East Jaintia Hills – 1, Ri-Bhoi – 12, South West Khasi Hills -2, West Garo Hills -5, West Jaintia Hills – 12 and West Khasi Hills district reported 3 new cases.
A total of 41 people recovered from the disease.
Of the recoveries, 1 person recovered in East Jaintia Hills while 40 people (Armed Force/Paramilitary force – 7 and others – 33) recovered from East Khasi Hills.
East Khasi Hills registered 1 more Covid19 death.
Meghalaya currently has 680 active Covid19 cases.
Of the total active cases, East Khasi Hills has 470, West Khasi Hills – 18, South West Khasi Hills – 6, Ri-Bhoi – 45, West Khasi Hills – 109, East Jaintia Hills – 17, West Garo Hills – 13, East Garo Hills – 1 and North Garo Hills has 1 case.
Meghalaya has registered so far 14,871 Covid19 positive cases out of 4,35,552 tests.
The state has recorded so far 153 Covid19 deaths.
A total of 14,038 people have recovered from the disease in Meghalaya so far.
A total of 69,190 citizens have been administered the first dose of the Covid19 vaccine while 6,583 citizens have been administered the second dose of vaccine against the virus.
