Meghalaya on Sunday reported 7 more Covid19 deaths and 420 new positive cases in the last 24 hours.

According to the Covid19 bulletin, released by the National Health Mission (NHM), Meghalaya, with the new cases, the state’s total positive tally increased to 71,808 on Sunday.

In the last 24 hours, a total of 278 patients, who were earlier infected by Covid19, have recovered from the deadly disease.

The state has so far registered a total of 66,515 recoveries.

The deadly disease has so far claimed the lives of 1,227 people in Meghalaya.

Meghalaya currently has a total of 4,066 active Covid19 cases.

On Saturday, Meghalaya reported 7 Covid19 deaths and 343 positive cases.

A total of 918 patients recovered from the deadly disease on Sunday.

On Saturday, Meghalaya’s active Covid19 cases stood at 3,931.

On Friday, Meghalaya recorded 13 Covid19 deaths and a total of 384 new Covid19 positive cases.

On Friday, 397 people recovered from the disease.

According to NHM Meghalaya data shared on Saturday night, so far, a total of 12,25,658 people have been administered Covid19 vaccines in Meghalaya.

According to the NHM Meghalaya data, on Saturday, a total of 7,640 people received Covid19 vaccine doses.

Of the 7,640 people, who received Covid19 doses on Saturday, 4,885 were above 18 years and 1,910 were above 45 years.

On Saturday, a total of 82 health care workers received Covid19 vaccine doses while 763 frontline workers received the vaccine doses.
