Meghalaya on Tuesday reported 5 more Covid19 deaths and 252 new positive cases in the last 24 hours.
According to the Covid19 bulletin, released by the National Health Mission (NHM), Meghalaya, with the new cases, the state’s total positive tally increased to 72,412 on Tuesday.
In the last 24 hours, a total of 417 patients, who were earlier infected by Covid19, have recovered from the deadly disease.
The state has so far registered a total of 67,581 recoveries.
The deadly disease has so far claimed the lives of 1,240 people in Meghalaya.
Meghalaya currently has a total of 3,591 active Covid19 cases.
On Monday, Meghalaya reported 8 deaths due to Covid19 infection and 352 new positive cases.
A total of 649 patients, who were earlier infected by Covid19, recovered in Meghalaya on Monday.
On Monday, the active cases in Meghalaya stood at 3761.
According to NHM Meghalaya data shared on Monday night, so far, a total of 12,31,832 people have been administered Covid19 vaccines in Meghalaya.
According to the NHM Meghalaya data, on Monday, a total of 7,089 people received Covid19 vaccine doses.
Of the 7,089 people, who received Covid19 doses on Monday, 4387 were above 18 years and 2,249 were above 45 years.
On Monday, a total of 29 health care workers received Covid19 vaccine doses while 424 frontline workers received the vaccine doses.
