Meghalaya has reported 22 more Covid19 deaths and 803 new positive cases in the last 24 hours.
According to the latest data, shared by the National Health Mission (NHM), Meghalaya on its Twitter handle on Sunday, with the demise of 22 more patients due to Covid19 infection, the state’s death toll has increased to 457.

So far, a total of 29,681 people have been affected by Covid19 in Meghalaya.
A total of 21,542 people have recovered from the disease in the state so far.
Meghalaya currently has 7,682 active Covid19 cases.

On Saturday, Meghalaya’s Covid19 death toll stood at 435 while the positive tally was 28,878.
Meghalaya reported 1,123 new positive cases on Saturday and the number of active cases was 7,454.
NHM Meghalaya has urged the citizens not to believe in myths regarding Covid19 and share only verified information.
“Do not believe the myths regarding Coronavirus. We must be vigilant and responsible in sharing only accurate and verified information regarding Covid-19. For Covid-19 queries call the State helpline at 14410,” NHM Meghalaya tweeted.
So far, a total of 4,34,031 citizens have received vaccine doses in Meghalaya.
Of the total number of vaccinated people, 2,585 are from the age group of 18 years up to 44 year.
According to NHM Meghalaya, only 841 people of the age group of 45 years and above have been vaccinated.
On Saturday, a total of 4,303 people have been vaccinated.
