The stage of Garo Hills of Meghalaya is all set to host the NH-51 Garo Hills Rock Festival for the first time on December 1.
The festival will be held at Asanang Playground, located about 18 kms from Tura and will be organized by A’chik Rock Musicians’ Association (ARMA).
Recently the members of ARMA held a meeting for carrying out all the necessary tasks required for the festival. Inspection of the venue is also being carried out.
Famous rock bands of Meghalaya like Eye 2 Eye, Rough Roads, Black Jack, Titans, Suicide Notes also took part in the meeting.
The main goal of the festival is to provide a platform for talented rock bands of the North East to showcase their talents, reports The Shillong Times.
ARMA President BA Sangma asked interested rock bands eager for participating in the festival to mail a demo of their two original compositions to [email protected] on or before 25th October.
