National Institute of Technology (NIT) Meghalaya is inviting applications from eligible candidates for recruitment to the posts or jobs of Guest Faculty in the Department of Chemical & Biological Sciences on a purely temporary basis.

- Physical Chemistry / Theoretical Chemistry : 1
- Biosciences or Biotechnology : 2
Qualification :
Physical Chemistry / Theoretical Chemistry :
- Ph.D. (completed or thesis submitted) in Physical / Theoretical Chemistry.
- First class in UG and PG level.
- Should be able to teach CY 407 (Quantum Chemistry), CY 531 (Chemical Kinetics, Reaction and Molecular Dynamics), CY 409 (Analytical Methods)
Biosciences or Biotechnology :
- Ph.D. (completed or thesis submitted) in Biosciences or Biotechnology.
- First class in UG and PG level.
- Should be able to teach CY 101 (Engineering Chemistry), CY 151 (Engineering Chemistry Laboratory), CY 103 (Biology for Engineers)

Salary : Rs. 50,000/- per month and/or as per the institute norms. No other emoluments, medical reimbursement, allowances are applicable. No pensions/gratuity etc. is application. Free Hostel accommodation on a shared basis will be provided if required.

Candidates may appear for a walk-in-interview on 15/07/2024 at 10 AM at NIT Meghalaya.
