The India-China joint military exercises at Umroi in Meghalaya’s Ri-Bhoi district concluded on Friday.

Titled as “hand-in-hand-2019,” it was the eighth edition of the India-China joint training exercises.

The exercise culminated with a grand closing ceremony where the participating troops displayed high standards of military drill.

In addition, enthralling skill display was presented by troops of both the countries during the ceremony which left the spectator spellbound.

The bonhomie achieved between the troops was at display during the camp fire organised in the evening prior to the departure of the Chinese contingent.

The joint training standards achieved by both the contingents were on display during the 72 hours field training exercise which encompassed various drills requiring seamless integration of action on the part of troops to fulfill the facets of counter terrorism operations.
