The charge sheet, prepared by the investigating authority, states that only a case under the Motor Vehicles Act can be pursued against Bishnoi due to insufficient evidence to substantiate other allegations.
The court directed the state to provide Bishnoi with a copy of the charge sheet, allowing him to review it before the final disposal of the case.
In a related development, the state government reported to the high court that an inquiry into the misuse of official police vehicles and alleged fund misappropriation for vehicle acquisition is nearing completion.
