Guwahati: At least ten alleged Bangladeshi nationals were arrested by a team of Border Security Force (BSF) and Meghalaya police from West Garo Hills.
Sources said that the suspects were nabbed from the Purakhasia area of West Garo Hills in Meghalaya.

They were spotted travelling in an auto rickshaw based on inputs.

Sources said that based on inputs, the BSF along with the police had set a check post of the SH-12 on the intervening night of September 28-29.

During the operation, they spotted 10 persons moving suspiciously in a vehicle.

On intercepting them the vehicle, an auto, the team found the 10 suspects.
They were nabbed between Dalu and Ampati, a press statement said.
All the accused were produced before the court and further investigation is being carried out by the police.
They allegedly had no valid documents while entering Indian territory, the source said.
