The Business Advisory Committee of the Meghalaya Assembly will meet on Monday to finalise the number of working days for the upcoming autumn session.
According to sources, the proposed calendar will be presented before the BAC meeting to be chaired by Speaker, Metbah Lyngdoh at the old Assembly administrative block, Khyndai Lad at 3 pm.
Leader of Opposition, Mukul Sangma, parliamentary affairs minister and other members of the BAC will attend the meeting.
The meeting will finalise the number of days for the whole session, as well as the number of days to be allotted for government business and private members’ business.
Sources said that as per the proposed calendar, the autumn session will a one-week sitting and it was proposed to commence on November 5.
