The anti-CAB protesters on Tuesday dubbed Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union home minister Amit Shah and NPP MP Agatha K Sangma as enemy of the people of Meghalaya.
Tura MP Agatha on Monday supported the CAB in Lok Sabha, which was passed in the Lower House on Tuesday.

The anti- Citizenship Amendment Bill (CAB) protesters also burnt effigies of Prime Minister Modi, home minister Shah, Meghalaya governor Tathagata Roy and Tura MP Agatha in Shillong and other places in protest against the passage of the (CAB) in the Lok Sabha.
The protesters in Shillong led by the Confederation of Meghalaya Social Organization (CoMSO) gathered at Motphran in Shillong after the bandh called by the North East Students’Organisation (NESO) and set the effigies of the said leaders and the governor afire.
People also took out a protest march from Madan ïewrynghep Laitumkhrah to Motphran in support of the demand not to implement the CAB.

The activists shouted slogans and condemned the NDA government led by Modi for introducing and passing the CAB in Lok Sabha on Monday.
At Tura in Garo Hills, protesters also burnt the effigies of the NPP leaders.
The effigies were also burnt at Khliehriat, Jowai, Nongpoh, Mawkyrwat, Nongstoiñ and other places.
