Meghalaya on Saturday registered 8 more Covid19 deaths and 507 new positive cases in the last 24 hours.
According to the Covid19 bulletin, released by the National Health Mission (NHM), Meghalaya, with the new cases, the state’s total positive tally increased to 57,000 on Saturday.

In the last 24 hours, a total of 585 patients, who were earlier infected by Covid19, have recovered from the deadly disease.
The state has so far registered a total of 51,981 recoveries.
Meghalaya currently has 4,080 active Covid19 cases.

The deadly disease has so far claimed the lives of 939 people in Meghalaya.

On Friday, Meghalaya reported 5 Covid19 deaths.
The state registered a total of 441 new Covid19 positive cases on Friday.
On Friday, a total of 264 people recovered from the disease.
The state’s active cases stood at 4,166 on Friday.
According to NHM Meghalaya data shared on Saturday night, so far, a total of 8,96,613 people have been administered Covid19 vaccines in Meghalaya.
According to the NHM Meghalaya data, on Saturday, a total of 8,756 people received Covid19 vaccine doses.
Of the 8,756 people, who received Covid19 doses on Saturday, 4,981 were above 18 years and 3,525 were above 45 years.
On Saturday, a total of 88 health care workers received Covid19 vaccine doses while 162 frontline workers received the vaccine doses.
Meanwhile, 39.96 crore Covid19 vaccine doses have been administered so far across India under the nationwide vaccination drive.
A total of 3,02,27,792 people have recovered across the country so far and the recovery rate increased to 97.31% on Saturday.
A total of 43,916 patients recovered during last 24 hours while the country reported 38,079 new cases in the last 24 hours, according to the Union health ministry.
India’s active caseload currently stands at 4,24,025, the health ministry said.
