Meghalaya has registered 6 more Covid19 deaths and 388 new positive cases in the last 24 hours.

According to the Covid19 bulletin, released by the National Health Mission (NHM), Meghalaya on Sunday, with the new cases, the state’s total positive tally increased to 57,388.

In the last 24 hours, a total of 483 patients, who were earlier infected by Covid19, have recovered from the deadly disease.

The state has so far registered a total of 52,464 recoveries.

Meghalaya currently has 3,979 active Covid19 cases.

The deadly disease has so far claimed the lives of 945 people in Meghalaya.

On Saturday, Meghalaya registered 8 Covid19 deaths and 507 positive cases.

A total of 585 patients recovered from the deadly disease in the state on Saturday.

The active Covid19 cases stood at 4,080 on Saturday in Meghalaya.

On Friday, Meghalaya registered a total of 5 Covid19 deaths and registered a total of 441 positive cases.

According to the NHM Meghalaya data, a total of 8,756 people received Covid19 vaccine doses till Saturday.

Of the 8,756 people, who received Covid19 doses on Saturday, 4,981 were above 18 years and 3,525 were above 45 years of age.

A total of 88 health care workers received Covid19 vaccine doses while 162 frontline workers received the vaccine doses till Saturday in the state.

A total of 40.49 crore vaccine doses were administered across India under the Nationwide Vaccination Drive so far, according to the Union health ministry data.

So far, a total of 3,02,69,796 people have recovered across the country so far and India’s recovery rate increased to 97.31%, as updated by the health ministry on Sunday morning.

A total of 42,004 patients recovered from the disease in the last 24 hours.

India has reported 41,157 new cases in the last 24 hours.

India’s active caseload currently stands at 4,22,660 and the active cases constitute 1.36% of the total cases.
