The Meghalaya Board of School Education (MBOSE) declared the results of the Class X examinations on Monday.
Neelam Kumari of Embee Rosebud Secondary School, Tura topped the merit list of successful candidates in the Secondary School Leaving Certification Examination or the Class X board examination, 2019 conducted by theMeghalaya Board of School Education (MBOSE) . She secured a total of 577 marks out of 600.
The second position is bagged by Darila Akor Kharmawphlang of St Mary’s Higher Secondary School in Shillong. Darila secured a total of 565 marks.
The third position is bagged by Luigi Dalian Pasweth of Q C Springdale English Secondary School in Jowai. Luigi totaled 563 marks as aggregate.

The Class X examinations in Meghalaya began on March 5, and ended on March 18. This year, 51,321 candidates appeared the Class X examination, and out of which, 27,816 are females.
A total of 25,053 candidates had appeared the Class XII (Arts) examination, which began from February 22. There were 101 examination centres across Meghalaya.
The results of Class XII Science and Commerce streams were declared by MBOSE on May 8.
