The problem of artificial flood and its measures to resolve the problem was discussed thoroughly in the meeting.

Deputy Commissioner Mittal also visited the bank of the Digaru River near the national highway with the officials.

He also inspected the drain connected to the Digaru River to flow the flood water from Jorabat.

During the inspection, he asked the officials to resolve the problem through coordination with local people.

He also ordered the officials to take action against the illegal encroachment alongside the drain.
