IMPHAL: Two CRPF personnel lost their lives in a suspected militants’ attack in the Narayansena region in Bishnupur district of Manipur.

According to the police, the attack took place at midnight and persisted until 2:15 am of Saturday (April 27) in the area.

The deceased CRPF personnel belonged to the 128th battalion of the paramilitary force.

According to reports, armed groups allegedly opened fire toward a village in the Moirang police station in Bishnupur district of Manipur in the wee hours of Saturday (April 27).

The bomb, fired by the armed groups, fell and exploded inside the outpost of B/128 Bn CRPF.

Further, the explosion resulted in injuries to four personnel: Jadav Das, N Sarkar, Arup Saini and Aftab Hussain.

Later, N Sakar and Arup Saini succumbed to their injuries.
