Rebels of the proscribed militant group from Manipur – United National Liberation Front (UNLF) has killed a dreaded militant named Thokchom Nando Singh for “raping and murdering” an 8-year-old girl in 2003. 

Thokchom Nando Singh, who was also known as KCP Nando was ‘executed’ by the UNLF cadres in an undisclosed location. 

The UNLF later released photographs of Thokchom Nando Singh’s execution. 

In a statement, the UNLF stated that it ‘tried’ Thokchom Nando Singh and ‘eliminated’ for his heinous crimes. 

The 8-year-old girl, who became the victim of Thokchom Nando Singh was the daughter of a former state minister.

The 8-year-old girl, a class 3 student then was kidnapped by Thokchom Nando Singh from near her school on November 3, 2003. 

9 days after her kidnapping, the minor girl’s decomposed body was recovered. 

Thokchom Nando Singh had escaped from a jail in Manipur while undergoing trial in the sensational rape and murder case. 

The UNLF informed that the cadres of the outfit managed to nab Thokchom Nando Singh on Monday. 

The UNLF cadres rewarded “capital punishment” to Thokchom Nando Singh after a ‘trail’ on Tuesday.
