Two hardcore leader of Manipur insurgent group Kangleipak Communist Party-People’s War Group (KCP-PWG) were arrested from Burari area in North Delhi.
Police on Monday said the arrested KCP-PWG militants have been identified as Laishram Mangoljao Singh and Hijbur Rahman, both residents of Manipu.
“The militants were nabbed on Sunday from Nirankari Sarovar Bus Stand, Burari. Non-bailable warrants were issued against them by the courts concerned,” said a police official.
Singh was the chairman of KCP-PWG, and Rahman used to raise funds for the organisation, the police official said.
They both were operating their proscribed outfit from other states and were staying in Delhi to raise funds for the rebel group, he said.
