Host team Manipur emerged champion in National School Games U-14 Boys Football Tournament which concluded on Friday at Khuman Lampak stadium in Imphal.
In the final match, Manipur team beat Jharkhand in a tie breaker 4-3.
Earlier in the semi final, Manipur defeated Uttar Pradesh 4-1 goals while Jharkhand thrashed West Bengal 5-1.
The winning prizes and trophies were distributed soon after the final match.
In the quarter final matches played at different playfields at Khuman Lampak sports complex here on Thursday, Manipur beat Bihar 1-0 while Jharkhand defeated Rajasthan 2-0.
On the other hand West Bengal won its quarter final match by beating Madhya Pradesh 5-3 goals while Utter Pradesh defeated Jammu and Kashmir 8-1.
Assam team is out of the semi-final even though the team beat IPSC 9-0.
A total of 32 football teams took part in this year’s 65th National School Games.
The tournament was hosted by Directorate of Youth Affairs and Sports at three venues in Imphal.
