Imphal: Manipur Chief Minister Yumnam Khemchand Singh on Thursday met a delegation of the Naga Village Headmen Association, Senapati District, to discuss development priorities and welfare issues concerning the district.

The delegation, led by association president Silas Zho and secretary Joseph Chache, met the Chief Minister at the State Secretariat and raised several issues related to the development and welfare of the people of Senapati district.

According to the Chief Minister, the discussions focused on key issues affecting the district, including infrastructure, public services and livelihood opportunities.

Singh said the development of Senapati was important for the state’s overall progress and assured the delegation that the government would continue efforts to improve infrastructure, public services and livelihood opportunities.

He also said the government remained committed to addressing the concerns of all communities and pursuing balanced development across the state.

The meeting was part of the government’s engagement with community leaders and stakeholders on local development issues.
