The Assam Rifles handed over to the apprehended persons and the seized items to the police.
“#AssamRifles in Manipur apprehended four drug peddlers from Churachandpur district recovering contraband worth approx. Rs 1.26 Crores. Apprehendees & recovered contraband which included 390 grams of Heroin, 8.96 kg of Opium & 396 WIY tablets were handed over to Police,” the Assam Rifles said on its Twitter handle.

On February 28, Assam Rifles in Manipur along with Manipur Police recovered heroin worth approximately Rs 1.2 crore from the Bishnupur district.
On February 26, the Assam Rifles and Manipur Police personnel recovered a huge cache of 87.5 kg of brown sugar and 26.5 litres of liquid brown sugar worth Rs 200 crore from the Thoubal district.
