Manipur’s COVID-19 situation continues to be grim as the State on Tuesday logged as many as 18 deaths relating to the deadly disease.       

With these 18 new COVID-19 deaths, Manipur’s COVID-19 death tally currently stands at 825.      

On the other hand, Manipur registered nearly 800 new COVID-19 cases.       

As many as 798 new COVID-19 cases have emerged in Manipur.

Of these 798 new cases, 428 are male and 369 are female.    

1 case has also emerged from the Central Armed Paramilitary Forces (CAPF) deployed in the State.   

With the detection of these 798 new COVID-19 cases, Manipur’s active cases tally has jumped to 8942.      

Of the total 8942 active COVID-19 cases in Manipur, 8908 are from the general public and 34 are from the Central Armed Paramilitary Forces deployed in the State.

Meanwhile, the total COVID–19 cases in Manipur have also risen to 51549.  

As many as 629 persons have also recovered from COVID-19.          

Manipur’s COVID-19 recovery rate has further dropped to 81.05%.
