The Indian Medical Association (IMA) has labelled Yoga Guru and businessman Ramdev as a “traitor and anti-national”.
The IMA said: “Mr Ramdev thought it fit to launch his tirade against National COVID-19 treatment. Creating confusion in the minds of the people against the National Covid protocol and National Vaccination Programme is an anti-national act of heinous proportions.”

The IMA has been seeking action against Ramdev over his “dishonest and wrongful representations” on allopathy.
“Inaction from the government would seriously hurt the doctors who are fighting the pandemic,” the IMA added.
“Nothing will deviate IMA from its resolve to nail this Anti-National (Ramdev),” the IMA further said.

“People creating confusion regarding the National Treatment Protocols and National Vaccination Programme are traitors and anti-nationals. They are anti-people and anti-humanity. They deserve no mercy,” IMA added.
Yoga guru and businessman Ramdev has sparked outrage by claiming that COVID-19 vaccine has no use and he has benefitted greatly from the dual cover of yoga and Ayurveda.
He also claimed the deaths caused by the COVID-19 pandemic showed that allopathy was not quite effective.
Ramdev had also called allopathy a “stupid science”.
