Manipur’s COVID-19 situation continues to be grim as the State on Friday logged as many as 14 deaths relating to the deadly disease.       

With these 14 new COVID-19 deaths, Manipur’s COVID-19 death tally currently stands at 863.      

On the other hand, Manipur registered nearly 800 new COVID-19 cases.       

As many as 791 new COVID-19 cases have emerged in Manipur.

Of these 791 new cases, 407 are male and 384 are female.    

With the detection of these 791 new COVID-19 cases, Manipur’s active cases tally has jumped to 9048.      

Of the total 9048 active COVID-19 cases in Manipur, 9029 are from the general public and 19 are from the Central Armed Paramilitary Forces deployed in the State.    

Meanwhile, the total COVID–19 cases in Manipur have also risen to 53690.

As many as 592 persons have also recovered from COVID-19.          

Manipur’s COVID-19 recovery rate stands at 81.54%.
