The Kuki Inpi Manipur advised the Kuki-Zo people to remain indoors and refrain from traveling or working on September 27 and 28

Guwahati:ย The Kuki Inpi Manipur while terming the Manipur governmentโ€™s claims of 900 Kuki militants allegedly infiltrating to apparently launch a coordinated attack on the Meitei community on September 28, 2024 as baseless, said that such statements have presumably been made in order to justify a planned attack on the Kuki-Zo people.

In a public notice issued on Tuesday, theย apex body of the Kuki tribes in Manipur informed the general public that such statements made by the state government are totally unfounded. ย
