The Sunday Brunch at Seven Restaurant of the hotel mesmerized the mango lovers by lining up several dishes themed on mangoes.

While executive chef Sumalya Sarkar and his team lined up starters like Ghoti Garam and Amer tel diye Masala Muri, the liquid buffet includes Aam pora Shorbet (juice of burnt mangoes), Mango Lassi and Chilled Mango soup which attracted a good number of food commeasures.

For the main course the Chef has lined up the delicious Chickens Manga Curry of the South India and the famous Amti dal of Maharashtra.

Similarly, the desert section had also lined up specialties like Jalebi with Aam Rabri, Mango Kalakand, Mango Sondesh and many more mouth watering dishes.

Similarly, the Sunday Brunches have also kept a grill section, grilling and baking some exquisite pizzas themed on the King of Fruits.

“We have started having these themed Sunday Brunches for last one and half months. The season of Mango is on and we thought of organizing something themed on the King of fruits. The customers come with new expectation and we are happy to provide a new taste every week, particularly on Sunday through our Sunday Brunches,” executive chef Sumalya Sarkar told Northeast Now.

“We are using six varieties of mangoes—the Langra, Duseri, Fazli, Chausa, Hasina and Safeda variety of mangoes. There are about 15 to 18 varieties of dishes in desert section which includes Indian as well as European deserts,” Sarkar said while adding that they have received a wonderful response.
