LS secretariat to recruit for 21 vacant posts, salary up to Rs 1.77 lakh

The Lok Sabha Secretariat has recently released a notification for recruitment of 21 vacant posts of Parliamentary Reporter.

The last date for submission of applications is January 28, 2020.

To apply for the post, one must go to the website loksabha.nic.in and then click the ‘Recruitment ‘ option present under the ‘Related Links’ section.

After being taken to a new page, one must then click on ‘Filling up of vacancies of Parliamentary Reporter’.

A document in PDF format will appear. One should then scroll down to the bottom and will find the prescribed application format in the last seven pages of the PDF document.

After filling up the necessary details in the prescribed form and attaching the requisite documents (given in the PDF document) , one must send it to -The Recruitment Branch, Lok Sabha Secretariat, Room No. 521, Parliament House Annexe, New Delhi-110001.

To apply for the post, one must have a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized University and shorthand speed of 160 words per minute in English/Hindi.

Eligible candidates will have to appear in Shorthand Test, Written Test and Personal Interview at Delhi/New Delhi only.

The pay scale for the posts of Parliamentary Reporter is Rs 56100-Rs 177500.
