To commemorate 50 years of special friendship between India and Bhutan, a joint cycling cum trekking expedition, comprising participants from the Indian Army and the Royal Bhutan Army was conducted under the aegis of the Kripan Division.

The expedition was flagged off on November 13 from Haa Dzong in Bhutan and after covering a total distance of 169 km across challenging mountainous terrain, it culminated at Binnaguri on November 19.

A total of 19 serving personnel from both the armies, participated in the expedition. This expedition has furthered the strong bonds of bonhomie between the two armies, adding yet another glorious moment in the relations between the two nations.
