The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast widespread rain and thunderstorm in all the Northeast States during the remainder of this week.
Continuous rainfalls with some intense heavy showers are expected in the region.
Isolated heavy rainfall is possible over Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Tripura, Sikkim and Mizoram during next the five days.
In Arunachal Pradesh, heavy rains are expected on June 25.
A cyclonic circulation, present over Bihar, is likely to trigger widespread rainfall over East and Northeast India.
The rainfall figures are expected to reach up to 250 mm or more, which may lead to a flood-like situation.
