A human skeleton was found by Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) workers during Swachh Bharat Abhiyan in its Lechubagan complex in Agartala on Monday.
Bikash Sarkar, a BSNL official and an eyewitness said that initially, they found a human skull during cleaning of the bushes and as they looked for the other part of the body, to their surprise, they saw a skeleton hanging from a nearby mango tree.
Immediately, they informed it to the police and the police took away the skeleton for forensic test.
Sensation prevails in the area after the recovery of the skeleton.
It may be mentioned that as part of the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan, the Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) workers carried out a cleaning drive in the BSNL complex in Agartala, the State capital of Tripura.
