Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday announced the extension of nationwide lockdown till May 3, and many states have also clamped curfews to keep people confined at home.

In fact, curfews are imposed to ensure that people maintain social distancing, the only mantra to protect India from the COVID19 onslaught.

But, amid lockdown and curfews, there is a need to ensure that essential services and medical emergencies remain unaffected.

In such cases, curfew passes are issued to the people by the administration.

The passes allow people to move outside their locality.

But, how to get a curfew pass?

One can avail e-pass, and application can be made online.

Almost every state has set up infrastructure for such e-passes.
