Vibhavariben Dave, Minister of State for Women & Child Welfare, Education (Primary & Higher Education) & Pilgrimage, government of Gujarat along with Statue of Unity high-level state delegation consisting of MLA, MP and government officers met the Tripura Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb and invited him to take part in its unveiling program of the statue.
More than double the 93-meter Statue of Liberty, off the coast of New York City, the Statue of Unity in Gujarat is an iconic 182-meter tall tribute to Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel.
It will be the world’s tallest statue.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi will unveil of the Statue of Unity on October 31, Sardar Patel’s birthday.
Later Minister Vibhavariben Dave along with her team interacted with the media at the state guest house, during which she gave details about the Statue of Unity so that the people of the state are aware of it and also visit Gujarat to see it and thus pay tribute to Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel more popularly known as the Iron Man of India.
