Tripura Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb on Wednesday stated that their Government is committed to deliver good governance (Sushasan) to the 37 lakh citizens of Tripura.
Tripura CM Biplab Kumar Deb, who leads a coalition Government of Bharatiya Janata party (BJP) and Indigenous People’s Front of Tripura (IPTF), participated in the Janata Darbar programme organised in Dhalai district of the State on Wednesday.
During the programme, Chief Minister Deb had interactions with the common people including children and heard their grievances.
The Chief Minister also directed the officials concerned to solve the problems of the citizens and ensure timely and effective redressal of their issues.
Informing this on his Twitter handle on Wednesday, Tripura Chief Minister Deb stated: “In the Janata Darbar programme organised in Dhalai district today, heard the grievances of citizens & directed the officials to ensure their timely & effective redressal.”
Deb also asserted: “Our Government is committed to delivering Sushasan (good administration) to 37 lakh citizens of Tripura.”
According to the concept of Janata Darbar programme, the CM would meet different parts of the people thrice in a week.
His schedule would include meeting people at his home from 8 am to 9 am, while every Friday at the Civil Secretariat from 10 am to 12 noon.
Talking to reporters after the introduction of the new system, Tripura Chief Minister Deb had said, “The concept of Janata Darbar’ is not new, Narendra Modi first started the program and other BJP ruled States’ CMs are also following the concept to know the problems and sufferings of the people.”
