Gangtok is all set to celebrate the world biggest sports festival of the year, FIFA World Cup 2018 with series of events on Wednesday evening.

Football Clubs Association of Sikkim (FCAS) is organizing an extravaganza, World Cup Festival here on June 13  in front of the old Tourism Office in MG Marg from 4 PM onwards.

FCAS general secretary, Sumeet Thirani the celebration of the world biggest sports festival will include football skill competition included jugglery and others, Zumba, Aerobics, performance by Sikkim police band, DJ show and a colourful march.

Festoons and flags of the participating countries in the World Cup 2018 will also be put up at MG Marg.

“Let us all unite and show Sikkim is a football loving state with its own pool of talent in the sport. We would like to invite everyone to this event and the best one can do to support their teams is by donning their team jerseys,” he expressed.

FCAS has heartily welcome all to be part of this festival. FCAS also appeals all sports bodies, associations and organizations to participate in the event with their members.
