The domestic flights to resume operations in India from May 25.
This has been announced on Wednesday by Union Civil Aviation Minister Hardeep Singh Puri.

However, the domestic civil aviation operations will resume in a calibrated manner, the Union minister mentioned.
He also said all the airports and airline service providers are being informed to get ready for operations from Monday.
Keeping in view of the fourth phase of the nationwide lockdown being imposed in India in view of COVID19 pandemic, the Union Civil Aviation Ministry will issue standard operating protocols (SOPs), the minister said.

“Domestic civil aviation operations will recommence in a calibrated manner from Monday 25th May 2020,” Union minister Puri tweeted.
“All airports & air carriers are being informed to be ready for operations from 25th May.”
“SOPs for passenger movement are also being separately issued by MoCA_GoI,” he added.
The Union minister participating in a webinar said: “As far as the Ministry of Civil Aviation is concerned and as far as all the stakeholders in the civil aviation ecosystem including Airports Authority of India, (AAI), airports in different cities, air carriers, are concerned, we have been ready to resume domestic civil aviation now for the last one week or so.”
The Union minister earlier tweeted: “Happy that Lifeline UDAN is contributing towards strengthening India’s fight against COVID19.”
“894 tons of Life saving medicines, essentials & supplies required for testing have been transported to different regions on 554 flights across 5,11,855 kms since 26 March 2020,” he added.
