The DG of CRPF, R. R. Bhatnagar calling on Meghalaya governor Tathagata Roy.

The Director General of Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), R. R. Bhatnagar, visited field formations in Meghalaya for two days and interacted with the troops.

As part of his official tour, the CRPF DG visited the 67 Bn CRPF in Shillong and interacted with the troops.

He exhorted the troops to work hard to maintain peace and tranquillity in the Northeast and asked senior officers to pay attention towards the living condition and welfare of men.

Bhatnagar also visited the Hospital and enquired about the healthcare facilities.

He also asked the men to maintain cordial relationship with other organisations and the general public.

A Sainik Sammelan was also conducted wherein the DG interacted personally with the troops. Problems projected by the men were solved on the spot.

The DG along with the IG CRPF, Prakash D also called on the Meghalaya governor, Tathagata Roy at the Raj Bhavan.

He apprised the governor about the role played by CRPF in bringing peace in this region.

The Governor appreciated the role played by the CRPF and congratulated all the officers and men on his behalf.
