CM Pema Khandu giving away a cash prize of Rs 3 lakhs to the winner

Chief Minister Pema Khandu has announced to make talent shows like Arunachal Idol, Arunachal’s Got Talent, Miss Arunachal and Mr Arunachal calendar events. He said that the state government was committed to supporting these events to provide a platform for talented youths.The Chief Minister made the announcement during the finale of the third edition of Arunachal’s Got Talent.

The finale event was hosted at the Indira Gandhi Park in Itanagar on Thursday. 10 finalists, selected from among thousands of contestants, performed at the finale.

In the past, Pema Khandu had contributed Rs 10 lakhs for hosting the event. The amount was raised to Rs 25 lakhs for the current season and assured further support from the state government.

Winner D-Squad from Lohit district, won a cash prize of Rs 3 lakhs, which was given away by the Chief Minister. He handed over a cash prize of Rs 1 lakh to Urgen Tshomu of Dirang, who was adjudged the first runner-up. The second runner-up was Dawa and Dawa and Gamni and Ritu, who went home with cash prizes of Rs 70,000 each.
