All Arunachal Pradesh Public Transport Federation (AAPPTF) president Dobing Sonam on Thursday said traffic management is the responsibility of all including the individuals commuters while on road and everyone should follow traffic rules for avoiding choking of the roads.
Sonam said there is a rule of law that everybody should follow.

This goes for government vehicles too except those attending urgent work in the interest of public service.
“We are going to arrange a meeting of all commercial/public transport federations where all the stakeholders such as DC, SP, DTO, traffic officers will be invited for providing mass awareness,” he said
Sonam said it is must for the vehicle owners and drivers to update their documents as well as the maintenance of vehicles being used for commercial purpose while obeying traffic rules for convenience of commuters and avoiding harassment by the police.

“We will sort out a plan for checking the traffic menace,” he said, appealing to all vehicles owners as well as commercial vehicle drivers to maintain discipline while on road.
He also said a collective approach could help end traffic problems.
Sonam was given a warm reception at Naharlagun Railway Station by leaders of various transport federations of the Capital Complex.
He and his team of 12 members attended the All India Bharatiya Private Transport Majdoor Maha Sangh meeting in New Delhi from June 14-16 during which he was appointed the national secretary of the Sangh.
