Under this community health programme—‘Reclaim Your Health’, the concept developed by Dr Itesh Bordoloi, the leading doctor of the private hospital and his team, a 2-hour health-medical session will be provided every Sunday to those who are interested to join this programme in the hospital, Dr Bordoloi said.

Scientific knowledge on food and daily activity including exercise, meditation and yoga as well as audio-visual sessions on health management will be provided in the hospital to guide the participants of the programme to live their healthy life in natural way.

For this programme the hospital will charge minimum fees from the participants, Dr. Bordoloi added. As most of the people of our country do not know the healthy way to cook and eat, hence they suffer non-communicable metabolic diseases like Diabetes and Coronary artery diseases (impaired blood flow in the arteries that supply blood to heart) and lose their life before their natural life span, Dr Bordoloi said.

Deputy Commissioner Babulal Sharma said that because of the unhealthy food habit people have to suffer different ailments as they fail to draw proper nutrition from the foods they eat.

Dr D Hazarika, the senior doctor of the private hospital and one of the members of the health-expert team, said, “If we stay away from the nature we have to suffer more”. So, he urged all to live a natural life to enjoy disease-free life.
