Tripura chief minister Biplab Kumar Deb on Saturday highlighted the different schemes launched by the BJP-led NDA government at the Centre while addressing a mass gathering at Kailasahar district and vehemently attacked the previous Left government.
On Saturday, chief minister Deb addressed a gathering at Bhadrapalli HS School field in Chandipur Assembly constituency to campaign for the BJP candidate from the East Tripura parliamentary constituency – Rebati Mohan Tripura.
Tripura Industrial Development Corporation (TIDC) chairman Tinku Roy was also present in the programme.
Addressing the gathering, chief minister Deb highlighted the achievements of the PM Prime Minister Modi led BJP government at the Centre.
“The BJP-led government never entertains any form of bias or partiality,” Deb asserted.
“There is no space for bias or partiality in our policies. The administration shall work for the development of everyone,” he said.
Slamming the former CPI-M government in Tripura, chief minister Deb said during the regime of previous Left Front government there was misrule in Tripura and “the people did not see any development in the State”.
He further stated that PM Narendra Modi-led BJP government has provided several schemes and projects for the benefit of the people of Tripura which was not possible during the Left Front regime.
Deb claimed that at least 33 families joined the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) during the programme held at Bhadrapalli High School field.
He also addressed a Jan Sabha organised in support of the BJP candidate for West Tripura seat, Pratima Bhoumik in Agartala on Saturday.
He tweeted: “I bow to Nari Shakti of the land of Ma Tripursundari to be present in such large numbers & pledge their support to ensure Phir Ek Baar Modi Sarkar.
