The mandate on the 15 years of Nitish Kumar rule in Bihar will be declared on Tuesday.

Will the Tejashwi Yadav-led Mahagathbandhan be able to form the government like the exit polls have predicted or will the NDA prove them all wrong and come to power once again.

The fate of 3,558 candidates who contested in the Bihar Assembly Election 2020 will be decided on Tuesday as counting for Bihar assembly polls results begin at 8 am.

The exit polls that were released after voting in final phase of the elections have given an edge to the Tejashwi Yadav-led grand alliance.

While the India Today-Axis My India predicted a resounding victory for the Mahagathbandhan, projections from six other exit poll majorly predict a hung Assembly in Bihar but the biggest winner is Tejashwi alliance.

The CVoter exit poll put the Congress-RJD Mahagathbandhan ahead of the ruling NDA but only marginally.

According to CVoter, the grand alliance is likely to secure 120 seats while the NDA is expected to win on 116 seats.

All eyes will now be on the counting across 55 centres in the state to see the final outcome.

On the other hand, the Jan ki Baat exit poll has predicted a likely majority for the Mahagathbandhan with the Tejashwi Yadav-led alliance expected to win 118-138 seats.

On the other hand, the exit poll projected 91-117 seats will go in the NDA kitty this time.

Bihar has recorded a higher voter turnout in the 2020 Bihar assembly election as compared to the 2015 election despite the Covid-19 pandemic.
