The Bangladesh police has arrested a man for allegedly keeping Quran at a Durga Puja pandal in Comilla last week, that triggered communal tensions in the country.
The accused person has been identified as Iqbal Hossain. Hossain was arrested from Cox Bazar late on Thursday night.
Bangladesh police arrested the man after scrutinizing CCTV footages.
At least three persons were killed in the violence that followed after the Quran was found at a Durga Puja pandal in Comilla last week.

Several Durga Puja pandals were reportedly attacked after the copy of Quran was found at a puja mandap.
The Bangladesh police in Comilla has arrested a total of 41 persons in connection with the communal violence.
