In a sensational incident reported from Guwahati in Assam, chopped body parts of a woman has been recovered from Boragaon locality of the city.

The woman, whose chopped body parts were recovered by the police, was earlier reported to be missing.

The police recovered the woman’s body parts from her own residence in Guwahati’s Boragaon area.

Meanwhile, the police have detained the husband of the woman in connection with this gruesome ‘murder’ case.

The body parts of the woman, which were wrapped in plastic bags, were recovered from the bedroom of the residence she lived with her husband.

The couple lived in a rented apartment in Guwahati’s Boragaon area.

The deceased woman has been identified as Antima Gupta.

Notably, Santosh Gupta, husband of Antima Gupta, had filed a missing report at the Gorchuk Police Station on Wednesday.

The police have launched an investigation into the case.
