“UPPL will oust Hagrama Mohilary-led BPF and form the government in BTC under the leadership of Pramod Boro,” claimed Bodo Peace Pact mediator Prithviraj Narayan Mech.

The statement comes days after Mech joined the United People’s Party Liberal (UPPL).

“I have joined UPPL and there seems to be a clear mandate of the people towards the party,” Mech claimed.

“UPPL will form the government Pramod Boro’s leadership,” Mech reiterated.

Mech further claimed that the NDFB (Saoraigwra) generals secretary BR Ferrenga and the second mediator of the Bodo pact Thulunga Basumatary will also join UPPL.

“Both BR Ferrenga and Thulunga Basumatary will join UPPL soon,” Mech said.

“I am in talks with B Saoraigwra and I am sure I will be able to persuade him to join UPPL for the true implementation of the Bodo pact,” he said.
